How to Install Microsoft Teams on a Desktop
Use these steps to install Microsoft Teams on a Windows or Mac computer for your online class. Download the application only from the official Microsoft website or your device app store.
Installation steps
- Open the official Microsoft Teams download page.
- Choose the desktop version for your operating system.
- Open the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Launch Teams after installation.
- Sign in using the email address or account details provided by your organization.
Joining your class
After signing in, open the class invitation or meeting link supplied by MKS Education. Allow microphone and camera access when requested, then test your audio before the session begins. Keep the application updated to reduce connection and compatibility problems.
If sign-in fails, confirm that the email address is correct and use the password-reset option for that account. Do not share your password with anyone.
